28th Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt

Clearwater families, get your baskets ready! The 28th Annual Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt returns to Coachman Park this Easter Sunday, April 20th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and this celebration promises more eggs, more fun, and more memories than ever before.

Thousands of Eggs, One Incredible Afternoon

This wildly popular event attracts families from all over Clearwater and Pinellas County. Organizers will scatter thousands of candy-filled eggs across the lush green fields of Coachman Park, with the official hunt kicking off at exactly 12:30 p.m. sharp. Kids 16 and under should come ready to scoop up eggs and discover 200 hidden Golden Eggs. Any child who finds one of these glittering treasures receives a free stuffed animal!

Parents – don’t hit snooze on Easter morning. This egg-stravaganza ends in a flash, so arrive early and bring your Easter baskets!

More Than Just an Egg Hunt

The fun doesn’t stop with the egg grab. Families will enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, a giant slide, kiddy carousel, bouncy houses (including one just for toddlers), and the brand new “Bunny Express” electric train ride.

For the first time ever, there will be an Easter Bonnet contest following the egg hunt.  There will be a parade and prizes for the Biggest, funniest, most extreme, etc.  So buy or make an Easter Bonnet and join in the fun!

Elvis will perform before the Hunt and The Parrot Lady will put on a fascinating show with her parrots after the hunt.

The Easter Bunny and Mrs. Bunny will hop around Coachman Park, ready for photo ops and lots of smiles. Don’t forget your camera!

Make It a Picnic Day

Stay for lunch! Delicious, affordable food vendors will line the park, offering plenty of options for an Easter picnic in the sunshine. Bring your blankets, grab some treats, and soak up the joyful atmosphere with your neighbors.

Free Admission and Free Parking

Yes, you read that right. Admission to the event and the egg hunt is completely free. Some attractions have a small fee, but most activities come at no cost. And don’t worry about parking – Coachman Park offers plenty of free parking nearby.

Celebrating Community with Clearwater Community Volunteers

The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) organize this incredible event every year in partnership with the Church of Scientology and the City of Clearwater. Since 1994, CCV has worked to uplift the Clearwater community, raise funds for local children’s charities, and support organizations such as the Sheriff’s Police Athletic League in Lealman, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Mark Your Calendar

Don’t miss one of Clearwater’s favorite family events of the year. Load up the car, grab those baskets, and head to Coachman Park on Easter Sunday, April 20th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Remember—the egg hunt starts promptly at 12:30 p.m. and finishes in minutes.

Bring your kids, your camera, and your Easter spirit. Clearwater’s 28th Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt guarantees a day full of laughter, sunshine, and sweet surprises.
