On June 28, 2024, the community gathered for a grand celebration at the $84 million Coachman Park to mark its one-year anniversary. Starting at 5 p.m., families and friends arrived to enjoy an array of festivities. The event featured family-friendly activities, diverse food vendors, live music, and a DJ. Unfortunately, rain put an end to plans for spectacular busker street performers and a unique silent disco experience.

Despite the challenges of heat and rain, attendees embraced the lively atmosphere. Food trucks and vendors offered a variety of treats, ensuring everyone found something to enjoy. DJ Timeless Entertainment kept the energy high with a dynamic music selection that had everyone dancing.

City officials joined the celebration, including City Manager Jennifer Porrier, Mayor Bruce Rector, and Councilmember David Allbritton. Their presence underscored the significance of Coachman Park as a cherished community hub.
