Crossing Over

Lately, too many pedestrians have been hit by cars in Clearwater. Even one injury or death is too many.

In February, the Clearwater Police Department made a video illustrating one such instance of jaywalking, to help inform the public of the importance of using crosswalks.

Even after news outlets warned against crossing streets illegally, the incidents continued to occur.
